PIERRE RAYMOND LEJEUNE Unexpectedly, on Sunday, June 4, 2006, Pierre LeJeune passed away on the farm in Rathwell, MB, surrounded by his wife and neighbours. He went to grace the Heavens with his presence. Pierre had many friends whom he spoke to regardless of their faith or nationality. Pierre was one of ten children born to Joseph LeJeune and Sidonie Pelé and was raised in the Rathwell and Notre Dame District. On November 4, 1953, he wed Hélène Vigier and they lived in Winnipeg for two years. Afterwards, they relocated to Rathwell to farm where they raised their sons, Paul and Hervé. Pierre is survived by his wife, Hélène of Rathwell; his son Hervé and his wife Joan and their children, Marc and Nicole of East St. Paul; and one sister Thérèse in California. He was predeceased by his son Paul, in 1997. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Bongo at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB on Friday, June 9 at 11:00 a.m. Private interment of Pierre's cremated remains will take place in the Notre Dame de Lourdes Parish Cemetery at a later date.
